What materials are your plates and bowls made from?
Our feeding products are made from durable, non-toxic materials that are designed to withstand drops and everyday wear. We prioritise safer alternatives to traditional breakable crockery.
Are your feeding products dishwasher safe?
Yes. The silicone sleeve on the plates and bowls are removable and are top-rack dishwasher safe, or can easily be hand-rinsed. The cutlery, plates, and bowls themselves can be washed in the dishwasher, or hand-washed. We always recommend checking individual product descriptions for specific care instructions.
Can your crockery products go in the microwave?
The porcelain plates and bowls are microwave safe. The stainless steel cutlery should not be put in the microwave. Please refer to the product details on each listing to ensure proper use.
Do your plates and bowls have suction bases?
No. During our development phase, we found that the suction bases released the ceramic plates and bowls too easily from the sleeve, and therefore, were more susceptible to breakage if thrown. In addition, children get to experience the freedom of moving their plate and bowl around to become more successful, independent eaters, right from the word go! With the silicon sleeves attached, these items are designed to withstand some of the inevitable drops and throws.
Can Elluca products be washed in a washing machine?
Our bibs and mats are absolutely designed to go into the washing machine! This is one of the great benefits of our products - we designed them to be quick to clean and quick to dry! We recommend checking individual product descriptions for specific care instructions.
